Getting started tutorial for creating program and unit assessments using RCampus Matrix, managing controls, submitting content, and reviewing them with ease.

For Admins/Facilitators
Adding Academic Programs and Administrative Units
The best and most effective method is to use the Import utility.
Creating a Program/Unit Assessment
- Login as a facilitator for the matrix assessment
- Navigate to Matrices > Gallery
- Select the matrix template to use
- Select assign… on top of the matrix
- Enter required information and advanced options if needed (they can be entered later) and press [Save]
- Select/enter reviewers and press [Continue]
- Select/enter the programs or units
- The assessment is created
Adding a Program
- Login as a facilitator for the matrix assessment
- Open the matrix assessment
- Navigate to the cell for Plans
- If a plan already exists, it’ll be pre-selected, otherwise:
- Enter or select a mission statement, then select the new mission statement from the drop down
- Enter Planning process if needed
- Press [Continue]
- The Plan is displayed in a box. Click on the [...] context menu and select Add Goal
- Continue with adding Goals, Objectives, and more for this plan
Adding Contributors
A “contributor” submits content related to planning and reporting and is generally the program director, staff, or selected faculty member.
- Login as a facilitator for the matrix assessment
- Open the matrix assessment for a specific program/unit
- On top, select the icon for adding contributors
- Select or enter the contributor
- Press [Continue] or [Save]
For Reviewers
- Navigate to Matrices > Assigned Matrices
Method 1:
- Navigate to the Assess tab
- Select the matrix assessment from the list
- Click on the program/unit to open the matrix assessment
Method 2:
- Navigate to the Programs or Units tab
- Drill down to the program/unit
- Click on the program/unit to open the matrix assessment
Review the contents of the matrix and change the cell status if needed.
For Contributors – Program/Unit Admins/Staff
- Navigate to Matrices > Assigned Matrices
Method 1:
- Navigate to the Submit tab
- Select the matrix assessment from the list
- Click on the program/unit to open the matrix assessment
Method 2:
- Navigate to the Programs or Units tab
- Drill down to the program/unit
- Click on the program/unit to open the matrix assessment
Upload work, add goal, objectives, etc. Change the status of each item to Submit when you’re ready.
