As a part of our LMS integration, RCampus includes capabilities to retrieve student submissions for various uses. This is currently available to Canvas users only.

== How it works ==
Instructors can use this feature to pull student submissions from their assignments into RCampus. Once the submission is retrieved, we maintain a link to the assignment in your LMS for future updates and retrievals. It also allows others such as assessment admins to update the list.

== Why retrieve student submissions ==
There are multiple reasons for pulling student submissions into RCampus:
# To have them available during course-level assessment with iRubric.
# To use submissions for secondary and independent, multi-rater assessments for various reasons such as QEP (Quality Enhancement Plans), juried and peer assessments, and more.
# To link student submissions directly to their competency matrix and structured ePortfolios for future needs or for additional assessments.
# To keep evidence of assessments along with the actual assessment for a longer period and for accreditation visits and other audits.
