A snapshot is a copy of your modification while editing the content of a screen.
Some screens have built-in snapshot (autosave) capabilities where the system takes automatic snapshots of your work while you're editing the page. Snapshots are saved for a period of time and will automatically purged on their expiration dates. The following pages have built-in snapshot capabilities:
- Rubric studio: Snapshots are taken while editing rubrics
- Rubric assessment: Snapshots are taken while evaluating using rubrics
- Online editor: Snaptshots are taken while editing content
Why snapshots
Snapshots are used to recover loss of work when an unexpected exception occurs. For example, if a PC is shutdown or rebooted unexpectedly during your work, or if the Internet connection is unreliable or interrupted.
How to access snapshots
If snapshotting is available on a page, you will see a history icon. Clicking on the icon will open a list of available snapshots.
