The Message Board provides flexible and secure messaging and discussions among members. It is available from any web-enabled computer and eliminates the need for email access.
- Confidential messaging protects members' email from exposure to unwanted use and spam.
- Flexible selection of recipients.
- Each message thread (a message and all replies to it) becomes ad hoc message board.
- Save incoming messages in customized folders.
- Set priority and expiration date on messages
- Attach documents.
- Send anonymous messages.
Contents
Send a message
- Select write from the messages menu.
- Select recipients, enter message subject and the message content.
- Press post.
Send an anonymous message
- Select write from the messages menu.
- Select recipients, enter message subject and the message content.
- Check anonymous.
- Press post.
Read a message
- Select unread to view a list of unread messages or inbox to view all messages. Unread messages have a new mail () icon next to them.
- Click on the message subject to read the message content.
Reply to a message
- press reply while reading a message.
- Enter your reply message.
- Press post.
Delete a message
- While reading a message, press the delete button.
Note: Deleted messages cannot be undeleted. Please be careful not to delete a message by mistake.
Save a message into a folder
- While reading a message, select a folder from the drop down list under the message content.
- Press move.
Create a message folder
- Select messages, inbox from the top menu.
- Press create folder inside the my folder area.
- Enter a folder name and description.
- Press save.
Note: Message folders cannot be deleted.
Change a folder name or description
- Select messages, inbox from the top menu.
- Click on edit icon next to a folder name inside the my folder area.
- Make changes to a folder name or description.
- Press save.
Save multiple messages into a folder
- While viewing a list of messages, click on the check box next to messages to be saved in a folder.
- Select a folder from the drop down box on top (or bottom) of the list.
- Press go.
