Two ways to build a rubric - from scratch or recycle

There are two ways to build a rubric: from scratch or from an existing rubric. To build a rubric choose a selection from [Build rubric].

Steps for building a rubric

Decide if you want to build one from scratch or revising an existing rubric.

Build from scratch

  1. Select studio from rubrics menu.
  2. Click on start button next to the Option A.
  3. This will take you to rubric editor.

Revise one of your existing rubrics

Use these rubric icons to edit, copy, bookmark, grade and apply a rubric
  1. Select studio from rubrics menu.
  2. Click on start button next to the Option B.
  3. Click on edit this rubric (rubricstudio.gif) icon next to the rubric you want to use.
  4. You can now revise the existing rubric using rubric editor.

Use an existing rubric as a template

  1. Select studio from rubrics menu.
  2. Click on start button next to the Option C.
  3. Click on create a duplicate of this rubric (copy.gif) icon next to the rubric you want to copy.
  4. You can now customize the copied rubric using rubric editor.
