As a part of our LMS integration, RCampus includes capabilities to retrieve student submissions for various uses. This is currently available to Canvas users only.
How it works
Instructors can use this feature to pull student submissions from their assignments into RCampus. Once the submission is retrieved, we maintain a link to the assignment in your LMS for future updates and retrievals. It also allows others such as assessment admins to update the list.
Why retrieve student submissions
There are multiple reasons for pulling student submissions into RCampus:
- To have them available during course-level assessment with iRubric.
- To use submissions for secondary and independent, multi-rater assessments for various reasons such as QEP (Quality Enhancement Plans), juried and peer assessments, and more.
- To link student submissions directly to their competency matrix and structured ePortfolios for future needs or for additional assessments.
- To keep evidence of assessments along with the actual assessment for a longer period and for accreditation visits and other audits.
