Plan Navigator

Overview

The RCampus Plan Navigator is an administrative tool designed to present a clear, hierarchical view of all institutional plans. It offers an intuitive interface for navigating planning structures across the institution, from top-level administration to individual programs and units.

Purpose

The Plan Navigator is to:

  • View the complete institutional plan hierarchy.
  • Edit planning elements within the structure (admins only).
  • Access reports for individual programs or units (admins only).
  • Navigate to corresponding planning matrices for each unit.

Access and Permissions

  • Only administrators can edit the plan hierarchy.
  • Plans are viewable by other users only after full approval.
  • Each node includes links to its corresponding Planning Matrix where the actual planning and assessment work takes place.

Benefits

  • Simplifies institutional planning by providing an easy-to-use view of the entire planning structure and convenient access to individual plan components.
  • Allows administrators to manage and maintain institutional alignment from a single dashboard.
  • Enables easy access to unit-level Planning Matrices for workflow management and deeper analysis.
  • Provides access to reports that can be filtered by program, department, or other units.

Using Plan Navigator

How to Access

  • From the main menu, select Planning > Plan Navigator.
  • Expand the hierarchy of units to locate the desired program or unit.
  • Click to open their plan.
  • You will see the plan and its components.
  • Admins can view and edit all plan details.
  • Other users can view only the structure and content of plans that have been fully approved.
