There are two ways for faculty and teams to send and read team messages.
- Using the class discussion tool: All class websites come with a class discussions tool which allows team messaging.
- Using the message board: All accounts come with its own message board. Recipients are categorized by types such as classes, teams, individuals, etc.
Contents
Sending a message
Method 1
- From top menu select classroom, classes
- Click on the + sign in front of class discussions to expand it
- Click on a team
- Click on send message
- Enter message and press post
Method 2
- From top menu select messages, write
- Faculty would see a link for teams next to class titles, click that and select one or more teams. Students will see a list of teams to select under recipients
- Enter message and press post
Reading team messages
Method 1
- From top menu select classroom, classes
- Click on the + sign in front of class discussions to expand it
- Click on a team to see a list of team messages
Method 2
- From top menu select messages, inbox
- From the side menu, select the team under its class title. A list of team messages will display.
