How is my refund calculated?

Refund calculation for monthly subscriptions:

Your refund is prorated for the days you have not used.

Please note that there is a minimum charge for administrative fee for complete cancellation. The minimum charge for administrative fee is equivalent to the prorated amount for 15 days.

  • Example 1:
    • On May 1st, you subscribed monthly to Classroom Plus.
    • On May 17th, you canceled your monthly subscription.
    • Your refund is prorated amount from May 18th to May 31st.
  • Example 2:
    • On May 1st, you subscribed monthly to Classroom Plus.
    • On May 3rd, you canceled your monthly subscription.
    • Your refund is the paid amount minus the administrative fee.

Refund calculation for annual subscriptions:

Your refund is prorated for the months you have not used. However, when you cancel the annual subscription, your subscription will be converted to the monthly subscription and you will lose the discounted annual price, so you will be prorated at the monthly rate for the months you have already used.

Note: There is no refund for annual ePortfolio subscriptions.

  • Example:
    • On May 1st, you subscribed annually to Classroom Plus.
    • On June 1st, you canceled your annual subscription.
    • Your refund is the annual charge minus the number of month used at the monthly rate.

Refund calculation when canceling one of multiple subscriptions:

When you make changes to your monthly plan, the current plan is canceled and a new plan begins. You will receive a prorated refund for the canceled plan.

  • Example:
    • On May 1st, you subscribed to Classroom Plus and Gradebook Plus.
    • On May 8th, you canceled Classroom Plus and kept Gradebook Plus.
    • Your current plan for Classroom Plus and Gradebook Plus is canceled, and you will start a new subscription for Gradebook Plus only.
    • You will be charged for the new plan and you will receive a prorated refund for the canceled plan based on the monthly subscription refund policy.

Refund calculation when replacing one subscription with another one:

When you make changes to your monthly plan, the current plan is canceled and a new plan begins. When you cancel some monthly subscription(s) and add one or more new subscriptions, you will be refunded for the remaining days of the subscription(s) you canceled after you have paid for the new subscription plan.

  • Example:
    • On May 1st, you subscribed to Classroom Plus and Gradebook Plus.
    • On May 8th, you canceled Classroom Plus and kept Gradebook Plus and then added Tests & Quizzes.
    • Your current plan for Classroom Plus and Gradebook Plus is canceled, and you will start a new subscription for Gradebook Plus and Tests & Quizzes.
    • You will be charged for the new plan and you will receive a prorated refund for the canceled plan without any minimum monthly charge.
