Course

A course refers to a specific subject of study, such as Basic Algebra, from which classes are offered. To avoid confusion, we refer to the former as course, and to the latter as class, class section, or course offering.

FAQ

How do I delete or inactivate a course?

Because courses have many dependent objects (e.g. classes, coursework, exams, etc.), they cannot be deleted or inactivated.

I have created a course by mistake, what can I do?

Open the course properties page and change its properties (e.g. Title) to a real course.
