Anonymous messages
In some cases, senders are allowed to send anonymous messages to a group. For example, students can send anonymous messages to the class.
One-to-one teacher-student messages have no anonymous capability. For example, students cannot send anonymous messages directly to their teacher.
The purpose of anonymous messages
Anonymous messaging was added to our system to promote communication among individuals who feel reluctant to identify themselves for various reasons. It is a great resource to encourage class participation where students may feel intimidated to ask questions or to provide comments
Abuse
Messages that are send anonymously must be appropriate for the recipients and inline with our Terms of Use. Any reported abuse can cause the offending sender's account to be suspended or closed and the offending message being removed.
